Tomorrow will be a week since we said goodbye to Chloe
And its now 5 months since we said our goodbyes to Mr T
We've been weeping and laughing equally - remembering funny things, choking up when we find a cat toy under the sofa or, as today, realising that the portion of chicken we've just put aside has no one to eat it
But I had already started to think about trying to find a cat to welcome into our home. NEVER a Mr T replacement - that just couldn't be - but a black boy who would get on with poor old Chloe.
We never expected Chloe's end would come so suddenly, and with no warning. Maybe thats all for the best - it certainly made things easier for Kieron, my partner. Chloe was his first ever cat - and a prolonged goodbye would have been heart breaking.
He (Kieron) is very keen to take on two new little furries. Again, not as a "Chloe-replacement" but as we both feel that we can offer a home to TWO cats now
And so that is what we are going to do !
But it seemed a good time to post some previously unseen pictures of Chloe and Mr T who I'm sure, have pulled strings to make all this happen
