I'll move this now as there's been no update hopefully sorted.
Please consider the harder to home cats in rescue.

Thanks Jane :)

I've just had a look on Google Maps and it is a residential area so fingers crossed he's just a friendly lad who does have a home to go to.
Will let you know if I hear more.

Hopefully this cat is friendly, does have a home and strayed too far.

There is a cat by my sister's who was always wondering to the bus stop and hairdressers for attention, extremely friendly and the owners picking him up in the car  :shify: (he hasn't been seen for a while so I think he's now grounded)

I'll leave in this section for a few days in case there is any more news.
Please consider the harder to home cats in rescue.

No unfortunately not  :(

The latest from the OP is this...

The cat is black and white + very thin. Very friendly like a cat who wants something (food i expect) it miowed and purred at me alot. I didn't look to see if it was male or female.

I sent an email to a Kettering Cat rescue email address I found online but the email came straight back undelivered.

I've got a friend in Kettering who's hopefully going to pop out + have a look for it later.

~~~~~~
Fingers crossed the friend managed to locate the cat.
That's why I posted it on here JackSpratt. I'm hoping there's a few members here who might live nearby and could go and take a look. Hate to think of any cat out in this arctic weather  :(
My boys are velcroed to the radiator as I type.
"If it's still there?" It'd have to be someone local to go to check there.....poor thing.
Cross posted from Cat Chat  (Janey please move this if it's in the wrong section)...
Hi, I've seen a stray cat in Kettering (northamptonshire) this
afternoon near Kettering Conference centre on Lake Avenue, near the
bus stop. It is very thin + friendly, and I'm sure that if it's still
there it would come to someone with some food and a box or carrier to
take it home. I was getting onto a bus and live well over an hour away
(by bus) so couldn't take it with me unfortunately.
I've never visited this forum before but I just wanted to post in
casethere's someone nearby who can help - it will be very cold
tonight.
