Hi Hun

Try and give as much info as poss like :-
In the main post, please give us as much information as possible - making sure to be very honest about the details of their character, preferences, health, etc. as that will go a long way to ensuring the cat goes to the right home for their needs.

Here are some points to consider in your post.

   Your name and contact details. Please bare in mind this is a public forum so not wise to leave contact details in the post - If you are not a Purrs regular, please send an admin or moderator an email address or a phone number by private message.
   Where about you live and where the cat/s are if the location is different.
   Name and age/s of the cat
   Colour, long or short haired and breed, if it is a pedigree
   Posting photographs really do help.
   Cat's background (i.e did you get the cat/s from a rescue etc)
   Cats  general health or special needs (such as diet). Please be honest!
   Brief circumstances as to why you need to rehome cat/s
   Character of the cat, is puss a lap, nervous, timid or an independent soul? What puss likes and dislikes.
   If more then one cat do they need to be rehomed together or on their own?
   Does puss get on well  or been living with children (if so what age range) other cats or dogs?
   Is puss an indoor or an outdoor cat?
   Current status of vaccinations? (bare in mind that vaccinations are usually done on a yearly basis, so if they are not up to date and you don’t have any vaccinations records you may wish to state when say  if you are prepared to get them done or not)
    Is he/she neutered? Microchipped

It's really difficult at the mo as soo soo many rescues are so full. This year has been a very very bad one for cats in rescue.  Do you know if he/she is neutered/spayed?   Is there anyone that might have a room free for him or her for a while esp as it's getting cold now?

We live in Colchester, the cat is in Harwich (about 30 min drive away from Colchester).

What other info do you need...I've never done this before.

My fella is an estate agent and one of the houses he's marketing has been repossessed. They were feeding a stray cat thats very friendly apparently, and they haven't bothered to sort the cat out before going. We're feeding it, but can't bring it home (long story) or have him/her. Have tried phoning round all the local rescues and they are all full (minus one that has a Cat Flu outbreak at the moment). We're gonna try phoning round the vets next to see if they know anyone who might like a cat.

I think its a black and white long hair, but don't know the sex.

Will go over later to see if we can spot him/her and get a piccie to post it.
