So sorry it wasn't Thimble, it must have been devastating.      I can't begin to understand how it must have felt as I've never lost a cat.      Sending lots of         Ps I can't see her picture

As you may or may not have already read my cat thimble is missing, poor mite. It'll be two weeks on Tuesday.  Been struggling to hold it together, we've done everything we can think of.

Anyway, I had a call today, someone thought they had her, a 'stray' had been hanging round this family's house for a week and they saw our poster today. They described, it sounded like thimble. So we rushed round, step kids in tow as they're staying this weekend (5 & 7) I tried to dampened or hopes and I tried not to get to excited... i failed.

I walked up and the door burst open with the 3 kids, we've got your cat! I said well I hope you have... the cat sauntered through, it wasn't thimble. I kept looking at it as if it might change into her suddenly.

I thanked them and left, just returning to the car shaking my head slowly. We drove home in silence.

These moments are heartbreaking. They really are. You try not to hope too  hard but she must be somewhere, so you think maybe, just maybe it's her. We had a total hoax one last week, as the address was fake when we turned up. And I had a call this morning saying  a tortie was spotted on the industrial estate last week looking lost. It's shut today so that's a job tomorrow. We walked down there and tried to look through the gates and put up a poster or two.

So my life is pretty depressing right now, just when everything was so lovely too. Please cross everything and send all your wishes for us tomorrow that we find her. Again I try not to hope TOO much :-/
