Oh bramble hun I'm so so sorry to hear the sad news about Poppy.  Please accept me sincere condolences.  I know this must be breaking your heart at the moment and I realise there are no words that will be able to comfort you but you must take comfort from the fact that Poppy knew how much she was loved and she was a happy little girl.

I realise this is not the outcome you would wish have wished for but at  least you were able to bring your little girl home and this will help you to be able to get some sort of closure over time ... there is nothing worse than "not knowing".

My heart goes out to you are this terrible time and please remember we are all here for you if you need to talk.

RIP Poppy darling ... play hard at the bridge xxx

So very sorry to hear this  :( I know it's little consolation but it sounds like it would have been over very quickly, try to remember her as she was - the happy little girl who had a loving home

i am devastated to post this. a woman told our vet yesterday that she had seen a dead grey cat on the by pass near us last week. we drove and walked on by pass until we found the body. it was poppy. we went straight to the vet to get her scanned as she was a mess and we had to be sure. i am heartbroken and cannot come to terms with losing my gorgeous freindly girl in such an horrendous way.   i cannot get over the  fact that she had been left there for days like a piece of rubbish. she deserved so much better than that. dont know how i am ever going to come to terms with losing her, loved her so much.

our gorgeous girl poppy went out last friday teatime and we havent seen her since. she is one of the poor kitties in the cold that MM bought over to me new years eve. she is around 2 years old, wearing a pink collar with our ad and phone no on. she is slso microchipped. we have posted 50 flyers so far and asked around but no one has seen her in the last few days. going to phone vets and council. we are at our wits end not knowing what has happened to her. she was so happy and content last week and hardly went out at all until friday. wish we could find her, this is killing my husband and i. >:(
