Poor Dave, sending him lots of  :care: :care: and hoping he has recovered from his ordeal. I'm sure he will be appreciating all the fuss he will no doubt be getting.  ;)

Rosella the ginger boy you see may look like Hobbes but certainly not like him in anything else, Hobbes is such a wuss he even scarpers when I sneeze

Am sending poor Dave a few  :care: :care:  Poor boy  :(  Glad he seems to have got over his ordeal quickly.

Driving down our narrow road yesterday I saw a young ginger boy lying down in middle of road just by a parked car looking into road on my right intently  :scared:.

Obviously I stopped and sounded the horn - he didn't even acknowledge the sound, I put my hazards on and got out unfortunately leaving a gap of about 10 feet between me and the parked car. I then saw a tubby tortie and white in the middle of the road to my right and the two of them were glaring at each other making "I'm glaring at you" noises.  I clapped my hands loudly and shouted at them.  Tortie & white ran half heartedly up road on right and ginger inched back behind the parked car.  I got back in car.

It was at this point that stupid  :censored: of a woman came driving towards me completely ignoring my hazards and that I was getting back out of car gesturing her to stop so I could explain predicament but she kept going and inched through the gap I'd left between me and parked car and missing Ginger by a whisker

By this time, there was another car behind me and just in case he was also tempted to squeeze past me I sounded the horn some more and last I saw of Ginger he was disappearing at a gallop up the road on the right to have another "chat" with the Tortie and white  :shify:

I've seen this young ginger before.  He's gorgeous.  He looks like Ann's Hobbes but he knows no fear   :(

Dreamies have been administered and he is now on Chilli's chair. Chilli has just gone and given him a bit of a groom and they are now snoozing together :Luv: Don't think he's in the least bit bothered now!

Nooo, not my favourite cat named Dave   Poor little dude  :'( Hope he gets spoilt and treated like a king today. You might want to get him a little bell so he can *ding* when he needs something.

lay me down, let me go, feeling heavy the ground is cold,
lay me down take it slow I'm ready to stumble, sing & then swing low

:ahh: for Dave. It is horrible

I was going to start a post about Kylie's one last night. it was about 1.30am -I was just saying goodnight to Alice and OH was upstairs studying. I heard that horrible noise cats make - it was really loud. As I went out to investigate, OH came running downstairs to ask if Kylie was OK. I went out there and she had a cat cornered against the fence, with her face right into the other cat's. Although Kylie is a big girl, this cat is much bigger than her. I knew better than to try to step in - I called Kylie but she ignored me. As I walked closer, the other cat took off over the fence. Kylie came over and rubbed against my leg and gave me a "Aren't I a brave girl protecting you" look  :evillaugh: - I checked her over and she seemed fine. Then I saw big clumps of black and white fur on the ground. She really is fearless and would take on any cat (and probably win  :evillaugh: )

Well, we have another neighbour and this one is far more of a thug than the little mouthy lady! I haven't managed to get a pic yet, it keeps running off just as I get the camera as it sees my two.

Anyway. I'm at home today and have the front door and lounge/kitchen window open so the puddies can run about as much as they like. Dave only pops out for short spells as he's a big girls blouse and spooks quite easily :evillaugh: Fine by me, at least I know he's not going to wander off. (To be fair, Chilli stays in the garden or in the neghbouring gardens for the most part, much better than her former wandering ways).

So this black cat, quite a small thing, is not in the least bit friendly towards other cats and swears a lot whenever it sees one of my two before running off. I was just sitting having a cup of tea when I heard a bit of fuss outside and Dave came running in looking none too pleased. He sat still for a few seconds and when he moved there were a couple of little blood spots :( I've checked him over now and he's fine, no more blood and I can't even see where it came from so either it wasn't his or it was just a little nick somewhere.

My poor boy, I don't think he's ever been in a fight before, he's such a laid back cat with other cats, he would never start a fight :( That other cat is just a mouthy thug!
