You are right... they were very surprised to find themselves at Hotel Pinkbear upon waking for breakfast this morning. 24 hours ago they were darting around a bramble bush and eating slugs.
They are already a little less scared and getting used to being handled but still protesting.
Give them their due, they have already used the tray and left little jobbies for mumsie.
That's a first because ferals usually try to eat the contents of the litter tray or sleep in it the first few days.
Pretty soon they will elect a spokes-kitten who will be sent to negotiate for extra previledges. I expect we will also have an intrepid climber who needs rescuing every 5 minutes and a dumpy one who always lags behind the others and gets lost.
Sometimes I feel a little sorry for people who don't foster kittens like these because after you've been doing it for a while you actually look forward to their little 'games'.
