Do you have a webcam? I bought a webcam and set up a kittycam to monitor the boys on a website when they were tiny babies and I was at work, it's was fairly easy to do but relies on you keeping them in one room with the webcam at a decent angle to capture events! They mostly slept with a bit of rough and tumble mixed in and I bet Haggis and Rosie would be the same   ;D

Dave still makes Chilli skqueak but she has recently taken to hissing at him when he gets too rough which he often ignores :evillaugh: He's twice the size of her but it is all in play and he's never hurt her, if he did he'd know all about it!

I also strongly suspect that they will mostly sleep when you are out, I'm pretty sure that's what mine do. They save their energy to show me how naughty clever they are :evillaugh:

I agree with Gill, leave them to it when you are there and see what happens and try not to intervene unless you are sure he is hurting her.

I think before you leave them alone unsupervised you have to leave them alone while you are there and see if its Ok............I do hope it is.

I'm no expert as I've always been a 1 cat woman but from the photos you've shown us of them I bet they would be ok on their own together.  :Luv2:

If you do decide to leave Rosie in the room on her own perhaps you could close the curtains/blinds a little to make it cooler.

Its day 9 in the big Haggis brother house and things are MUCH better. However I am still locking Rosie in her "safe" room at night and when I'm out.

That has been ok because my husband has been home the last 9 days to referee during the day, but he has gone to work for 2 weeks tonight and so now poor Rosie will be locked in the loft room all day ( except my lunch hour) She has all she needs there, toys litter, food etc and there is a window which I leave open a little but it gets quite warm in there if its a hot day  :summer 2 :

So my dilemma is do I just let them get on with it. ??? He is being good mostly except when he is really having his "mad hour" and its then he gets really very rough and makes her squeak. This behaviour has been improved with a little water spray when he gets too rough. But i'm afraid he will corner her when i'm not here to supervise, but I also dont want to have to lock her in all day either..... Is it likely he will REALLY harm her or should I give him a chance. ???
