What a handsome boy he was.

Sharon told me yesterday that despite steroid injections, he was steadily losing weight since he came into care instead of gaining it. Its sad but I'm sure Roz gave him a good 6 weeks.
DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

Ahhhhh what a stunning boy.  As you know I'm very biased when it comes to Abby boys .... they are very loving and very loud when it comes to purring.

RIP you gorgeous fella.  Play hard at the bridge xxxx

What a lovely boy Simba is and how sad that some cats just keep ending up in rescue when they do not deserve to. I am sure he had loads of TLC and appreciated his care so much

RIP Simba, find loads of lovely friends on the Bridge

Simba was sadly PTS today after become more frail and having a job to walk.. He had first stages kidney failure and obv had had a very hard live. The vet put him at least 16 yrs pls and being a pedigree Abby he was probably in his younger days much admired. I do know that his foster Ros was deeply touched by Simba and his loving ways... He never really  put on weight despite various vet visits...
In the last few days or wks he has become incontinant and was unable to get around. We gave him 6wks or so of love and TLC and he even went into the garden for some sunshine on warm days.
Simba lovely face adorns one of our branch Greeting cards for this yr and we will remember him, as we do all our special cats. but i think this old fellow had just had enough . This was after all his 3rd time in rescue all for no fault of his own...
RIP Simba i will remember your purrs!
Cannot save the world, but if everyone does something we can have a jolly good job trying too....
