He wasn't surprised that they got pregnant, he wanted them to have a litter of kittens each!      Just glad it won't happen again!

I am amazed that anyone would have two females and a male in a house and then be surprised they get pregnant - I'm sure he does love his cats but it all sounds a bit odd to me - please make sure he notes what Desley has said about the male being fertile for up to six weeks

Hi, well I'm pleased to say, that with some persuasion from me, the male Bengal has had the snip today?!!     I know he loves his cats, but I was so worried that his 2 girls were gonna get pregnant again!  He said he will get his girls done when their kitties have gone, but for the mean time, I'm just relieved that the boy's done!  He's allowed to go home from the vets later today!

I can't imagine an entire bengal male as a pet!  its a bit worrying that your friend doesn't understand the cats but feels he knows enough to be a breeder

I'd say he wants to "spread his wild seed." As it's been said, Bengals are by nature chatty and vocal any way but the poor boy will be overwhelmed with hormones.....

Glad to hear all the cats are getting the necessary "ops" soon.

I bet the female with kittens is coming back into heat, and it is frustrating him - I dont know why your friend is waiting with the male if he doesn't want any more kittens - might be worth telling him that males can produce sperm for up to 6 weeks after neutering, so if he doesn't do it asap, he could end up with another litter, which could be detrimental to the females.

I also agree, I'm glad that he's going to get them sorted now and I would defintitely not let them out until he has done.

Bengal and Siamese are two breeds known to be very vocal and chatty. Sounds like normal behaviour to me. 

I'd maybe suggest to your friend to never go in electrical engineering as that's another hobby you need to research a bit before you have a bash.  He should get all cats neutered straight away.

I do agree with you, I don't think he should have bred his cats at all!  Whenever I've got a new cat or kitten, the very 1st thing I do is get them neutered!

The bengal boy should be castrated straight away. Bengals are in their nature very loud anyway but he will be aware of the females and will want to mate.
 I think you friend has been totally irresponsible to breed like this.

Hello, I'm asking on behalf of my friend Terry, I was speaking to him last night, and he said his Bengal keeps meowing, mostly at night when they're in bed, and he gets very loud!  He's an entire male, and is an indoor cat.  Terry has 2 other female cats, one of which has a litter of kittens 2 - 3 weeks old, and the other cat is heavily pregnant, and due to pop next week.  He's not having anymore kitties after these litters, and is going to have the 2 females spayed, and the Bengal boy castrated.  Could he be meowing to warn other males off?  Terry thinks he wants to go outside because he managed to escape last week when Terry opened the door, and now he keeps climbing the curtains and ripping them and going fairly mental!  He has loads of toys, and gets loads of attention!  Terry said his Bengal cross Siamese keeps meowing too!  I said to Terry, if he were mine I'd get him castrated asap!  Any ideas anyone?
