Well, Dave fans will know what a naughty pest Dave is the majority of the time with a never ending list of incidents he's responsible for
But now and then, he does something that totally melts me and I forgive him all his sins once more and last night was just such an occasion.
I had been sitting in bed on the lappy and Dave was lying snuggled next to me which isn't an unusual occurrence. I put the lappy on the floor and I usually get up and turn the light off during which Dave goes off to harass Chilli no doubt. But last night he stayed where he was so I left the light and decided to stay for a cuddle. Well, we had the biggest, cuddliest, purriest cuddle session we have had in a long time
He just couldn't get enough, there were head rubs, head kisses, he gave me nose rubs, big arm around him cuddles, it went on for ages. I decided I would have to risk turning the light off as it was very late and I was never going to get to sleep with it on. Again, I expected him to disappear once I moved but nope, he stayed where he was and the smooch overload carried on some more. At one point he came onto my pillow and lay right next to my face. I had no choice but to use him as a pillow and rest my arm on him. He just carried on purring. Eventually I drifted off to sleep with him wedged against my back, it was just lovely.
It's at times like these I wish I had an OH just so I could pictures of these special moments
