In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

Just phoned the vet for some advice and she basically said that she could try some other steroid injection but really limited to what they can do,she said I might have to prepare myself to say the inevitable.  God I feel so sick :'(  I can't believe how fast he's gone downhill,he was fine and dandy when we went to bed tuesday night. :'(

Good luck Gwen

The steroid jabs are usually pretty good.

Thanks guys! Not had some good news really, apparently he has cysts or tumours(shes not sure) around his backside, she gave him a steroid jab and an antibiotic jab. So far he's still not eating,I feel so helpless,I really do :-(

He has to go back on Saturday for a follow up appointment so we'll see then how we get on. Please send them hunger vibes this way,he's really turning his nose up to everything I offer him so far:-(

Hey everyone, can you all send some hunger vibes to Ginge please?  I noticed this morning he didn't eat his food but didn't think nothing of it as thought he'd been grazing on biscuits in the night but when I went to give them some wet food this afternoon he still wasn't interested,he meowed for some but when it came down to it he just licked some jelly and that was it,after that I opened a pouch of Sheba, same happened again, licked some gravy then left it,I have just now poached some haddock for him and he wasn't interested in that either, this is so not like Ginge,he loves his meat but has suddenly lost interest.  I am taking him to the vet tomorrow if he's no better,I am so worried as he's is 20 years old and can't help but think this might be,I can't even bring myself to type the word,my screen is so blurry as tears are streaming down my face,I feel so helpless :'(
