I keep looking at the video. When I was about 8, my mum's sister & the family came round for Sunday tea. My older cousin, Mandy brought her boyfriend who was in The Who  :evillaugh: (I wonder if he was impressed with my mum's salmon & cucumber sandwiches with battenberg?  :evillaugh: ) I have no idea who it was and my mum can't remember either.

LOL! - she aint dumb though  :evillaugh:

She might have a "disability" but that shouldn't stop her living her life to the full and shes in the best care with you Gillian.  How long have you had her? :Luv2:

Only a few months. Her only problem is Lacie  ;) - Lacie watches her coming down the garden towards her - growling! I keep telling her no use growling, Sasha can't hear you and she won't see you till she's almost on top of you - so best get outta her way!  :evillaugh:

My vet in London had a blind cat and he said that it coped outside very well and never fell in the fish pond

LOL! luckily no fish pond  :) She's completely blind in one eye, with poss a little vision in the other. No, she's never used the cat flap so I don't think she does know it exists.

Kocka useed to go out the cat flap and back when her sight was gone,,,,,,,,,,,,it used to come and go.

If she didnt go out the flap she maybe doesnt know it exists?

Honestly, I can't keep her out of the garden now! soon as those patio doors are open, she's off! Its around 90ft long my garden - she plods all the way up the top, then back down again, few detours on the way - cos she's taken a wrong turning  ;) . I have to get her back in if I go out - she can't really get out of the garden unlesss she jumped a fence, and I doubt she would try somehow, but I don't know if she'd be able to find the cat flap - or even know how to use it in any case!

She was so funny, after discovering the garden, she came back in and went upstairs for a sleep - but came down a bit later, straight over to the patio doors, and was very disgruntled to find them closed  :evillaugh: .

She's not found her name on the Persian Palace yet though as she?  ;)

She's looking good - bet she feels 100% better with you looking after her.

Sasha's found the garden!
« Reply #1 on: March 28, 2010, 19:15:53 PM »
I've had the patio doors open today - so mild! Sasha suddenly found herself outside (not sure she actually meant to, but she went up to where the glass doors are usually, and sort of fell out LOL!) Mind you, having got outside, she was having a good old explore everywhere, up the path, amongst the plants, up the steps, sat on the garden bench, back down the steps.....my little deaf, (well, not dumb) and blind cat certainly doesnt let her disabilities stop her doing anything!  ;)

Ooh, whats up there?

Something moved down there too I'm sure!

Good out here isnt it?  ;)
