Thanks all - fortunately it wasn't too bad as the clocks went forward at the weekend so their 7am tummies only started rumbling at about 8am! Both kitties have been done and are now waking up, I'll be setting off to collect them soon

When I spoke to the vet, she said something about Milly having 1mm more movement than normal in the gap between her lower jawbones - she said it doesn't seem to be causing any problem and it does sometimes happen in older cats, but I can't quite picture whereabouts in the jaw she's talking about - anyone else got any ideas?
Anyway, best go get some fresh water out and get the food ready for when they get home
