Thanks for updating- I was thinking of you and Charlie only yesterday and wondering how it was going. Glad to hear he seems to have made progress.

Charlie update long overdue

Hi Everyone

Haven't been around very much at all for quite a while.  Firstly would like to send positive thoughts for all the poorly pusses on PIOH.

Charlie - Well, as ever, he is up and down.  He has now finished his year with the behaviourist and hasn't had a further bladder blockage since coming off the prozac.  THe nearby field is, as ever, his biggest frustration because he wants to be there but the cat proofing prevents it.  Those of you who are familiar with us will know there is an extremely busy road he would have to cross on which 13 cats have been killed in the last 2/3 years.

He still has the hyperesthesia and has manic days when he skitzes round the house like a distressed boy and he is still noise reactive BUT, there have been several occasions when he has had a really chilled day, slept on the bed (very unusual) and been super.

So we just keep on with the programme and hope that life will, one day, settle down for us.

Thank you all for reading.
Chrissie xx
