 :thanks: everyone  :)

it is stunning Helen - when are you getting one done of Riley?  :Luv:

I've told him that only good cats get their portrait done  :evillaugh: Joking aside, I'm probably going to get a photo of him printed onto a block canvas as couldn't leave my big boy out  :Luv:

The great thing about it is that it looks like Lukey if you know what I mean, not just a grey tabby  :Luv:

Def got Lukey's expression  :)

That's the first time I've seen it side by side with the original photo. I'm thinking now that I may have to comission my own work of art featuring my two furbabies  :innocent: Rather good isn't it???

I should point out that I have never met Stewart Soutar either. He is a self representing artist that I contacted on ebay to ask if he could offer his services for a minimal fee as the competition prize. Stewart kindly offered to work for free in aid of the charitable cause (£72 was raised in total to be split between the two charities  ;D ) Stewart has been an absolute star from the beginning and I'm so grateful that a man of such talent was willing to spend some of his time helping out little me in working to give a bit back to these animal rescue volunteers  :)

Some of you may remember a fundraiser that Baby British set up on ebay to raise funds for dog rescue, the prize was a portrait donated by an artist Stewart Souter. I got an email out of the blue from her with the artists' proof of a drawing of my beautiful Lukey!  I had no idea the artist had chosen one of my pics and am absolutely over the moon with the result  :wow:

The style is 'a detailed tonal drawing just picking out the eyes and ears with w/ colour'. I'm absolutely thrilled with it!  :wow:
