To think I might not see those eyes, makes it so hard not to cry, and as we say our long goodbyes, I nearly do.

I've just been on the hovel and seen this post which I though I'd share with you all.:

PHOEBE'S BACK!!!!! AFTER OVER 6 MONTHS! We are overjoyed! As you know I posted lots more flyer and posters a fortnight ago as Phoeb's collar was found not far from home on a driveway. We got a call last night to say that there was a cat matching Phoebe's description sitting under a parked car in the same road. I raced up there but could not find her at first. then some kind residents helped me to look and we saw her on top of a shed. She was very nervous and kept darting along fences in different gardens, meowing loudly! She then crossed the road and ran up a wall. all I could think of doing was put some biscuits out and hope that would entice her to come down. This worked and I just sat with her for a couple minutes getting reacquainted and trying to regain her trust. I was almost crying with happiness by then just to see her after 6 months! She was nuzzling up to my hand, so I think she realised who I was. Anyway, a kind lady brought a cat carrier over and I put her into the car. She's been reunited with her sister Izzy at long last. I am utterly amazed that we've found her and so grateful to all the lovely people who helped. One clear message is that flyers and posters DO work! I am truely amazed that we have her home. Thanks to everyone for all their kindness.

In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.
