We have got the Platinum and the only bit I have had to replace was the resevoir because I struggled to get it clean enough - I like them because you can buy all the spare parts.

The one you are looking at looks amazing but with my Benglies and their love of water I can just imagine the mess

If I remember rightly, the house was struck by lightning in which case I would imagine the current could have been carried through anything. The thing I liked about the platinum is the fact that there is a transformer so there is only a small current going into the motor. Our previous one was direct mains from memory but they may have changed that.

I tried to find the article but no luck - maybe they were threatened with legal action?

I think I remember you posting that before Mark.

Maybe we'll stick to the platinum again then.

Don'y know if I should post this but I saw an article where a woman in America blamed the 360 for electrocuting her cat. I can'y remember the full story. We have the Platinums and they are fine.

Our platinum water fountain has broken again, much to the boys dismay.

I've just been looking at the Drinkwell 360

But I don't know if its going to be far too big, I think Milo might prefer the flow on the 360 to the platinum, they are the same price though.

Anyone got one? Seen one?
