Well I have great news for you all re Chi Chi we took her to her new home last night and she settled in in seconds!

So wish we had the camera with us as she was SOOO funny and just made it her home right away. Within minutes she was eating, investigating the litter tray and after half an hour was trying to pry open the sitting room door to get out and explore! lol   She is SO much a different cat to the little terrified wee girl that came in who hid under the sofa!  :)

well so far so good.  No sign of Hyper T - heart fine, kidneys seem OK no 'nobbly bits'

Going to run a urine sample just to be on the safe side this afternoon - so hopefully she is just a thirsty little girl! :Luv2:

OH says something that sounds like bizou (apparently French for kiss?) to her and gets a big sloppy kiss

"Bises" or "Bisous" Boopy gives kisses too if you ask her in French, it's so cute

Another thing for us to miss  :'(

Just a wee update on our little chi!

we have become a little concerned about the amount of water she is taking in and thsi combined with age and breed she will be seeing the vet in the morning for the once over.  Hopefully all will be well.... just have to wait and see!

wee update pics from our wee chi chi that we took on Xmas day

chi is doing much better and very much loves attention, petting and treats are a definite favourite. she will make someone a very special little companion.  We are however getting a little concerned about her water intake and so will be getting this checked out shortly.

For the meantime she is a great little cat :Luv2: and we hope you enjoy these piccies that show how content she is at the moment.

Kylie doesn't do kissing but she does like a cuddle  :Luv2: when I fuss her, she always puts a front leg over my arm. Whether it is affection or just to hold me in position, I have no idea  :evillaugh:

Clapton likes to give washes - especially on the forehead which can be a bit uncomfortable  :Luv2:

Oh I'm not so cultured, I just say, in my best just for the cats voice, "gis a kiss"(he is a c**kney cat after all) and he thrusts his head at me or rubs his mouth along my nose for some reason, which is a bit gross but very sweet at the same time!

Willow does that  :evillaugh:

Chilli couldn't care less what you say to her really, just as long as you rub her chin and give her the sleepy eyes. She knows she's gorgeous :evillaugh:

Dave on the other hand loves to be told he's my gorgeous little man and a handsome boy and will give you a kiss when you ask for one :Luv2:

I wind OH up when he says to Alice "Who's my beautiful girl" or similar, I say in Alice's voice "Kylie is - I'm just a funny face" - OH says, "Don't say things like that, you will hurt her feelings and gives her a cuddle whispering in her ear how gorgeous she is"  :evillaugh:

My girls react to "Beautiful girl in all the world" they go all gooey for it!  :Luv2:

Oh my god!!! Just realised it is worse than that.....Its "Beautiful baby girl in all the baby world" then you have to say "Baby, baby, baby, baby baby"!  :-[ :innocent:

'beautiful girl'

Great that she is coming round - she is probably beginning to realise she has landed in the right place  :)

I always call Alice beautiful girl and she seems to respond to it as well. When I got her, I read somewhere that there is something about using the word beautiful that can help cats. I am a complete cynic but maybe there is something in the sound of the word that they like  :shy:
