Dotty has been rehomed to an experienced Bengal owner who travelled from all the way from Reading to pick her up yesterday!
Cannot save the world, but if everyone does something we can have a jolly good job trying too....

Well thanks for supporting our hunches, guys. I feel justified that we've called her a Bengal cross. ;) I felt she was a strong cross, maybe 3/4 but I can see white on her tootsies which means there's something else in there.  :shify:

I think Sharon's on the look out for a very good home for her. Fingers crossed someone with experience of Bengals.  ;) We're open to offers from Purrs members!  :wow: :evillaugh:

Strange thing is we have another puss coming into care soon who is also described as Bengal cross and was also found as a stray near Canterbury. It's unheard of for us to get 2 like this so soon together. In fact, I can't remember the last Bengal cross we had in care. :shify: Methinks we have a new back street breeder in the area.  >:(

I have a huge soft spot for bengals, would love to adopt one at some point and I think Dave would meet his match with a bengal :shify: Just pop her in the post to me.

He's lovely  :Luv2: I know they have a special type of temperament - can be particularly lively I think? not sure how much bengal-like a cross would be but good idea to find out as they do need a special type of home/owner I believe?

Ooo he's lovely.

I adore that ginger/gold color, Gizmo has a bit on him but only a little.

(and he's mental enough to be a Bengal - then again so is my Burmese!)

that's a shame - I was hoping it was the same lot - I know cp had taken them in - I do think its useful to know, not everyone likes bengal behaviour so better to know what you are dealing with!  my tillys feet are black

looks pretty benglie to me pudding - what area are you in, I know a breeder has recently signed a lot over in the devon area

Pudding is one of us lot - Canterbury CP.  :)

Yes Gill, we know without papers it's a moggy!  :innocent: But it does add appeal to publicity to potential adopters if we can say Bengal cross. Catches the eye, you see, and rescue cats need all the publicity they can attract.  ;) Personally I think the colouring is very Bengal but not sure about the feet on this puss.  :sneaky: She's very vocal we are told... so that's Bengly behaviour, isn't it.  :shy:
