what a pity about Greece.  OK I now have a few requests for Zylkene so will divide it up and send what I can either later today or tomorrow. I hope it's of help.

I am planning to go down to CHAT a bit later on this morning but will check in here first that no-one wants anything else.

Julie in greece can't use any of them-they have to use Greek meds prescribed by vet, tho there are some UK meds over there. Thanks anyway.

I wouldnt mind the Slippery Elm and the Cosequin please Kate, if none of the rescues etc specifically want those.

Hi Kate

I would be grateful for the Zyklene if it's going.  I always find it exceptionally good for the newbies to settle in and Bacardi is a bit stressed out at the moment, having come back to me after being found roaming.  He was a kitten I homed in 2006 but his owners have obviously moved away anot given any forwarding address etc.  Luckily  he was still registered under the Rescue name with his microchip so he has been able to return, but the numbers have grown somewhat since he was last here.

Hi, the local CHAT rescue want anything I've got, but I'm happy to send anything specific elsewhere as I just want the meds to help other sick cats and I know how costly these meds can be.  If anyone wants anything specific, please let me know exactly what by tomorrow as that's when I am taking the box to Celia Hammond's organisation. I'm happy to fish anything out that anyone wants and post it to them, just let me know asap.

Hi Kate, so very thoughtful of you. I've set up a fund on Catchat to raise money to get meds for a Greek animal shelter. One of CC's members lives over there and helps out. She's got 9 cats and 4 dogs that she's rescued and has told us of the awful neglect that goes on over there! She has a friend who comes to the UK every couple of months and stays for a few weeks, so he will take our meds back with him. If no-one else can use them, i'm sure she can!

I'm taking what I can back to the vet or giving to a rescue if not, but I wondered if anyone on here could use any of the following and I'd be happy to post them to you. I'd love it if SwampMax's meds could help someone else rather than get binned at the vets. (Please only use under agreement from your vet of course).

over 130 Zylkene (I bought in bulk)
Holland and Barratt Slippery Elm bark capsules - hardly any used
sachet of SEB powder from fancy healthshop
Pepcid - pretty full bottle from USA  and 2 unopened boxes of Pepcid with 12 full x 10mg tablets in each box.
Cosequin - nearly a full bottle
Cystease (not counted but about 40 I think)
unused but opened Ipaketine
I full unused packet Mirtazipine (appetite enhancer drug)
I packet Ondansetron (used to treat CRF nausea in USA - only 1 tablet used).
35 Zentonil liver supplement tablets.

and maybe harder to post especially the kaminox....
3/4 bottle Kaminox. The dropper was dropped into his food, so has not been in touch with a cat's mouth at all
Laxapet - same as katalax -  most of a tube left
Renalzin - must be more than 1/2 the pump bottle left.

I am taking meds down to the vet and they will advise if there are any others that they won't refund or re-use and I'll post that too.
