Do hope they listened to you....and I'd be tempted to give them some educational leaflets  ;)

Thanks hun xxx

I know I just have to 'forget' about it and have a good weekend, but it really does get to me and i'm glad I don't do much with the public - animals are WAY better x On the other hand I did get a response from a lady who saw our neutering advert on Preloved and so someone listens to us!!!

 :tired: :tired: :tired:

Returned the cat only to be told she's not neutered and they want her to have a litter beforehand and were just going to let her wander until she got pregnant...

Went into FIV, FeLV, birthing problems blah blah blah and just got no response  :tired:

Can only hope is that some of the info I left them with goes in........

A whole bloody day wasted in returning a cat to a home like that (this was a white, middle class family BTW who aren't ignorant of the risks...)

Un-neutered, un-chipped, no collar.... The thing is if she comes back to work again, i'm loathed to take her back, but they'll only end up getting another one and doing the same

I HATE HUMANS SOMETIMES!

Glad to hear that you have found her owners. Do hope they take your advice re: chipping and neutering.

Owner found - door knocking works!

Going to check if she's neutered and give them info about chipping. The lady I spoke to has lost her young cat (male, un-neutered) tried to be positive that it might come back. She was lovely, but just a bit clueless about cats - doh!

Hi Moira - goodness, what an awful thing to happen.

Fortunately this little one looks well fed, clean, happy and healthy and so hope I can find her owners - i'm sure she'd prefer to be back with them, rather than in my bedroom for the night!!!

I'm in agreement with the rest - her safety is  a priority. Taker her home then try to find her owners.

Adel: Tina was abandoned in Welsh mountains in the freezing cold and rain and ended up getting bitten by rats. She nearly didn't make it but thanks to Gill alerting us to the urgency of her plight she was picked up without delay and is now safe with me and has received vet treatment.

I would take her home and try to find her owners, it sounds very unsafe there.

I know the advice i'd give a person rinigng the helpline with this, but just don't know whether I can!

A little female tabby cat has wandered into my work today and is currently curled up by the fire. She's in good health, around 6 months old, no neutering scar or fur missing and appears to have a collar mark. I would normally just shoo her away BUT.... my work is on one of the busiest roads in Leeds and i'm loathed to put her out again....

... there's no-one here at the weekend and so she'll have to be put out later, but do I risk putting her out at the front where she came from, or put her out the back where there's a smaller road, but that might be somewhere that she doesn't know, or do I tkae her home for the weekend and keep her safe and try and find her owners over the weekend???!!!

I've got a colleague coming with a scanner but I don't hold out much hope!
