Just thought i'd post about our lovely Bob ho is a feral success story and is such a good ending!
A colleague at my old work place used to complain about a big tom cat alwas pushing it's way into the catflap, eating the cats food and terrorising them! After a while, I managed to convince her that he was probably feral and has only ever seen shut doors or been pushed away. She started feeding him and trying to gain his trust...
... a few months ago we finally managed to trap him to get him seen to (our feral trapper has a list a mile long to work through!)
Here is Bob at the vets with his manky mouth and yes..... those are his balls hanging off! Apologies for the graphic pics but any rescue who wants to use the pics to demonstrate why males need neutering as well as females, please do so!
Well here he is now with what my collegue has to say about him...
Bob cat our battered teddy bear is doing really well and has a nice warm
bed in our conservatory. My partner Iain (the big softie) installed a
cat flap in the conservatory so that Bob can come and go as he pleases.
He loves a regular cuddle from me and has the biggest Purr.
A couple of the neighbours are helping out by buying cat food for Bob,
so he is now well fed and happy, although he will only eat at my house
and no where else.
Please could you express our thanks to Georgina and the cats protection
for the amazing service they provided in helping out Bob, I now know
that if anything should happen to him there are people out there that
will help.
Just thought i'd share!
