Try to make different levels/heights to climb on, i saw a nice addition for a run, it was a plank with rope at each end to hang up so it took a bit more balance to use it.
I'd also put a floor to ceiling pole wrapped in sisal so they can climb all the way up

Solar lights will attract moths on summer evenings, thats always good fun  ;D

Lots of rustly plants in pots, grassses, bamboos, shelves, high look out posts, bubble water feature, the list is endless....

Heres some pics of the run I used to have

This is George IN the water feature LOL! (old oak barrel with a reservoir for the water, small pond pump, covered over with mesh and topped with pebbles, planted round with bamboos and other plants. George used to love sitting in the middle of it)

Hi
We have an outdoor run which our two pussies enjoy so much. We have shelves in there (more due to be added) as they love sitting up off the floor watching the world pass by. Toys include an outside scratchpost, some dangler toys and tunnels etc from inside (fabric things/toys we take in at night to their house). Large plant pots are a winner. I change things round on a daily basis so they have things to explore each day thus they never get bored.

hi all.smudge one of our cats was badly injured 5 weeks ago while he was out so i decided i wanted an outdoor pen for our 4 cats to keep them safe. a friend is building it at the moment. i was wondering what sort of things can i put in there to keep them amused! the run will include our shed so they will have shelter and will have a cat flap leading from the house. we bought a branch back from the fields when we were dog walking, what else can i include so they are happy?  bramble
