What a wonderful ending... Thanks for sharing it, my cat has been missing for more than 2 months and it gives us hope to read about cats being found after such a long time!

Thankyou for your lovely, lovely messages. Yes, we're over the moon! The funny thing is that she's fallen straight back into life as though she were never away. It just goes to show that they must remember.

It was such a bizarre moment, looking behind the shops over the road to our house and just seeing her sitting at the top of a metal staircase. It really makes you question what she must have been doing. If only they could talk!

We're just a little worried about her poor front leg now. She splays it out as she walks as though she has a limp. And it definitely has a slightly obscure look to it, like it could be broken. I think we'll be getting her to the vet next week after we've fed her up a bit more. She hasn't stopped eating yet!!

Many people said on here that they often stay close to home, she was literally over the road!

Never give up hope!! FOUR months!!!

Brilliant news.

So the moral of this is that if your cat fancies the chippy for a change,
dont let him/her go on their own!!

4 months away and HOME...!
« Reply #1 on: October 08, 2009, 20:54:05 PM »
Hi All,

You may recall that our little Munki went missing 4months ago. Well, we searched and searched and lost hope pretty much, despite the odd call still trickling in through petsearch and similar. Today we followed up a lead that our cat had been spotted over the road from our house. Someone had spotted a picture of Miunki in the local chip shop and was adamant it was her. My boyfriend and I wandered over to take a look and THERE SHE WAS!! She was sat at the top of a staircase just peering at us. We couldn't believe it.

We've now brought her home and she's eaten 2.5 packs of food. Shes lost some weight and her left paw seems a little tender but she's in good health nonetheless. We're still in shock!

Please have faith if your cat has gone walkies - we had none and we've found her after 4 months!

Thankyou all for your kind words! xxx
