The most recent newsletter from Redwings tells about a big chap called Boo, he lost an eye to cancer and coped fine with his little shetland friend until some  :censored: came along and shot them both point blank with a pellet gun, they did one eye on each leaving Boo completely blind  >:(
Her now lives at Redwings with a companion who wears bells in his mane and a windchime to mark out his water trough  :Luv2:

:( Yep, I received my newsletter the other day and saw that but not got round to reading yet
Please consider the harder to home cats in rescue.

DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

Seriously, anyone who could look at an innocent animal like that and gouge its eye out really needs taking out of society with a bullet.

Its heartbreaking to see any animal in such a state but even worse when its a little one just starting out on life :(

Its a sick sick world we live in nowdays >:(
Life be it human or animal seems to be very cheap now :(

I sometimes wish I could harden up a little though. I get upset every time I see roadkill which had to be 20 or 30 times a day going to & from college.

There was a copy lying on the floor when I was queuing in Asda. It really got me as the wording is "Alice needs all the friends she can get" There is a photo of a beautiful kitten with what looks like a sticker over the eye area saying"Warning, images inside may be upsetting" - Inside it says that Alice was found in a skip with her eye gouged out and her paws badly burned. After vet care, she is recovering. I had to control myself standing there  :'(
