I have just discovered the perils of reading things out to OH from the computer ..... Especially when he isn't rally listening to me ... :evillaugh:

I was telling him about Ripley's op, the vets bill etc

I said the vet was a rip off....

And he said "The did WHAT to him ?!!!!"

You can guess what he thought I had said they had done to Ripley ..... :shy:

Ouch,  eyes watering time  :naughty:

£140 ???  Was it gold plated  :evillaugh:

Glad he is ok xxx

I know,  I was shocked,  our vets are the only ones in the area and are a rip off for want of another word.  They even take the money before the do the operation

he has a John Wayne walk
  :evillaugh:

I missed the topic, sorry. Good he recovers so quickly!
Soon my twins have to go to and I'm worrying too as Elliot also has a navel rupture which has to be fixed at the same time. And a friend lost her kitten after the same operation.
So I'll be in pieces that day  :(

Yes Ripley is home,  he is running and jumping and being a terror to his sisters as per normal,  sure he has no idea what has happened,  he has a John Wayne walk but apart from that he is fine,   he was also chipped which seems to be annoying him more than anything else. (he keeps scratching it)  apart from me being £140 lighter in the purse life is as normal here  :Luv2:

Ripley's Operation is Tomorrow
« Reply #1 on: October 29, 2009, 19:53:15 PM »
Ripley goes in for his operation tomorrow so he will be coming home minus two vital bits of him !

But on the serious side I am now getting all the worries about him having the op,  I love him so much I couldnt stand it if anything happened to him.

I know I am being silly,  it is not like i havent been through this with all my cats but after the last experience with Piccalli where she got an infection and nearly died I am scared stiff,  I know the op is much easier for boys but I still cant help worrying
