shorthairs tend to be more wavy than curly, cody can be more wavy/curly depending on the time of year and what coat he has in. also he can have curly whiskers altho they are quite straight just now.
laperms have a "unique" texture to their coat, shorthairs esp and when i got cody his hair was crispy like abit like a westie dog, its pretty soft now and longhairs apparently are very soft coats but when i stroke "normal" cats you notice a difference.
Codys curls tend to be mostly under his chin/throat and he can have a middle parting along his back where the waves form. His tail has the most "textured" feel to it. Of course when he is wet he is very curly until he has licked himself practically straight again
