These are white meat - mostly  :evillaugh: - they are nice as I often have a bite myself to get Willow interested - she is like a toddler  :evillaugh:

Firstly  and secondly are thighs really classed as white meat? I thought all chicken, apart from the breast, was greasy and brown?  If that's a stupid question then in my defence I only ever buy chicken breasts so very rarely get to see the other parts!

I have to admit that I only ever buy breast myself for roasts etc. We had Tesco finest free-range corn-fed ones last night which look a bit jaundiced  :evillaugh: - they are huge (good sign) and really nice. Funnily enough after having the co-op cooked ones, they weren't interested in having any of mine. I usually buy the mixed packs of free-range drumsticks and thighs for soups/stews but always take the skin off first. It is tastier meat.

I personally very rarely buy breast :innocent: Don't know how white meat and brown meat is defined. I would have thought logically, brown meat would be that closest to the bones but I could be wrong too!

Chilli had a raw thigh yesterday, took her about 2 hours to eat it but she loved it. Dave licked his for a bit then decided it was far too much like hard work :evillaugh: They both like cooked.

I get these for Molly when shes poorly and add it to cooked rice or mashed potato. She LOVES it. It really is so greasy and hard to remove the skin without them flying everywhere. Memphis has some and he seems to really enjoy it.

Ive never had the chance to taste it for myself  :tired:

Lucas and Riley only eat white meat don't you know  :snooty: Seriously - I bought one of those cooked chickens once and took off all the brown meat as I don't like it myself, their bowls were overflowing with fresh juicy chicken and they wouldn't even lick it!  :evillaugh:

I started getting these for Willow for her Pills. They are cooked chicken thighs - 4 in a pack and the only additive is some dextrose - no nasty phosphates etc  :) - they are quite moist & greasy which the cats seem to love. They prefer them to the ones I cook for them   :-[ - Plenty of meat on them too  :) - about £2.50. They also do a bigger pack of drumstcks for about £3.50 but I think the thighs are preferred.

They are Elmwood, Freedom Food - not quite free range but barn reared to high standards etc with no growth hormones in their diet, bales of hay, perches etc.
