ZOMG!!! He is just so incredibly cute. I love the last picture. My Memphis has a sort of similar picture of him around the same age as Hugo. Sorry for the blurriness. That's not me he's resting on, so I was trying to lean over and got too close and it blurred.



As for his royal highness, he's being naughty because he's decided he enjoys bullying my poor dog recently.

I usually stop play when they get overexcited - ie when Willow decides my hand is a mouse she wants to kill  :shocked:

Hugo is doing well.  :)

He's a good boy who uses his litter very well and loves us loads already!

However, he sometimes hurts us when he plays - climbing up our legs or, worse, our backs. How do I teach him to play gently? Is that even possible?

He's been sleeping all evening but we encouraged him to play as we want him to be tired later, when we go to bed!

Question: can cats get human colds? I think I have a bit of a cold right now, so I'm being careful to wash my hands etc. Just wondered.

Not at all. You won't have to do it any longer though, I'll use photobucket from now on. I'd forgotten about that technique!

Earlier I picked Hugo up from next to me on the sofa and put him on my lap. After a few minutes he climbed up to sleep on my chest, and now he's on my shoulder! His bum is situated just under my nose though...  :shify:

I did'nt have to, I just "saved as" from the pics on Facebook.... ;)

If you go to  www.photobucket.com  and upload your pics on there, then when uploaded copy the Image Code (4th code down) and paste it when doing a post they will by magic appear!  :hug:

Thank you Bazsmum! How did you manage to make them smaller? I tried to just upload them but it said the files were too big. You can put the one with Tom (my boyfriend) on, if you want.

Hugo is tiny indeed. I wonder if he is the right size for a 9 week old? He seems quite thin - I guess I will have to feed him up!

Hugo's arival !!!!

As some of you know, I have been waiting all week long for my new kitten's arrival.

We went to collect him in Cardiff this morning, and I wanted to get him home asap for him to settle down, but our friends from Cardiff invited us for lunch. They got engaged in June and we hadn't seen them since, so we went... Hugo was an absolute delight at my friends' house! We played with him for a while, and while we were having lunch he was looking around and climbing up our legs! He then fell asleep at my boyfriend's feet, then continued his nap on my lap.

In the car he miawed a lot at first, but then calmed down and went to sleep in his carrier. We went to introduce him to our neighbours/friends who love cats, and when I got him out of his carrier he happily stayed in my arms whilst we were chatting on the doorstep!!

He's been exploring the kitchen and living room for the past hour, and now he's asleep between us on the sofa. So cute...  :Luv2: He's not shy at all, although he does jump from time to time when there's a sudden noise. He's really sociable! Probably to do with being one of 7 kittens in a house of 5 or 6 adults cats.

I'm extremely happy to have him with me now, and to make this day even more special, my friend asked me to be her bridesmaid at her wedding!!!  :wow:
