Yes the best price was at Vet UK, I searched a load of places.

I only bought a new tub about 3 weeks ago and it was still frre of a sort then but because it was under £15 they add a surcharge grrrrrrrrrrrrr.......I never thought about adding a toy!

Yep, think he was like 'sod off Mum, I'm sleeping'  :evillaugh: Then he thought seeing as I'd been rude enough to wake him he would come and dribble some slobber over me  :sick: Wouldn't have it any other way though  :Luv2:

Well so far so good - no deposits whatsoever, moist or otherwise!  :shify:

Was a bit worried last night though, when I go to bed Riley ALWAYS comes bounding onto the bed, dribbles his head off before settling down for the night.  Only last night he didn't, I got out of bed and hunted him down and found him on his sleeping bag bed in the spare room.  I bent down and stroked him and he didn't even look up  :( I was convinced he was feeling really poorly and after a few minutes I went back to bed, I was just setting the alarm super early so I could ring the vets first thing when he came bounding onto the bed, purring, dribbling, paddling and headbutting me  :Luv:

Sounds like it might be the biscuits, or a really big coincidence otherwise.

I'd been thinking about trying LactoB Gill so have ordered some now - couldn't believe the difference in price though - £10.83 at VetUK but postage no longer free under £15 so had a look on bestpetpharmacy which used to be really competitive and it's £21.19 there  :Crazy: Added a toy and some Drontal to get it to the £15 but still cheaper than most other places so it's like I got the toy and drontal free  :naughty:

Was it a new bag of biscuits. I have heard of there being reactions between two different batches of the same food  :scared:

Really hope gorgeous Riley gets better soon.

Hmmn, as I said the diarrhoea has been intermittent for a while now but looking at the timings I *think* I might have opened the bag at around the time it started. I've taken the biccies away now and will go back to Bozita only and see what happens. It goes without saying I'll take him to the vets if he gets worse or seems poorly in any other way.

It sounds like its the biccies but strange if they have been having them for a long time.

It could just be his tummy has become very sensitive and some probiotic yogurt or Lacto B for a while would sort out.

Frantas has become a nightmare after the abs and he has been on Lacto B almost all the time since Feb because every time I stopped it he became bad again.

I was just starting to phase it out this month when he got ill again and back on the abs!

I think I'll take the biccies away again then, it's a shame as Lu loves his biccies but it's impossible to feed them separately  :tired:

Poor Riley, I would think they could get an immediate reaction or delayed, if it's the same as with humans which I presume it would be and that's why sometimes it' really hard to tell what causes a problem and it's a case of elimminating things then reintroducing it one at a time.

Please consider the harder to home cats in rescue.

Riley's been having problems with a runny bum lately, it was intermittent and I put them both on chicken breast only for 4 days last week which seemed to do the trick and all poos returned to normal.  They've been back on the Bozita wet for 5 days and again, all poos were normal.  Last night I put their biscuits back out and this morning there was diarrhoea in the tray  :tired: It's the same biccies they've always had so no real 'change' but they had been without biscuits for around 10 days before I put them down again last night. Could the biscuits have caused the runny poo in such a short timeframe?

He's absolutely fine in himself, happy, alert, affectionate, his appetite is fine and he's drinking so I'm not concerned about his overall health.
