The gel caps dissolve so quickly when they get wet it shouldnt be a problem for basic coated tablets

Id say it would be okay for pills that are intended to go down direct into their tummies, I think Zantac is meant to disolve on contact and actually lines the gullet also! I think a bit of foam would be normal for it!  ;)

Is this ok to do? Swampy and Max both have prednicare, which makes them foam if they taste it. Max has zantac (horrible). Swampy has selgian (ditto). I've had the thought to put the horrible tasting pills into a gelcap and give it to them like that. I'm just wondering if it hinders the absorption or anything?  They take for eg 1 1/4 pills of something vile tasting; I could put the 1 1/4 into a small gelcap which is tasteless.

The only thing is the zantac melts the softer gelcaps as we tried it tonight with an empty cosequin capsule and it went rubbery. He foamed a bit as could taste it a bit, but I think less than if I'd injected 1ml of zantac into his mouth.
