Both Howie and Willow don't mind a stroll in the rain (although Howie is recovering from a sore tail and is being kept indoors).  Strangely, they both love wet and windy weather.  Howie often brings in anything that's being blown around - leaves, twigs, paper bags etc.  Saves us tidying the garden!! :naughty:

Milly loves going out in the rain, different to yours she has a catflap so the choice is hers, but she seems to enjoy it.  She's longhaired though so she does come back an awful state.  Geoffrey is far more sensible and just curls up indoors for a nap!

One of my Baz's many tricks is to go out in the cat proofed yard in the rain, then come into bed (lovely and wet) for snuggles!  :evillaugh: :tired:

I reckon like the rest of us they have come to the conclusion that unless they go out in the rain they won't go out at all >:(

Miss Milo of the Grumpy Bum most likely doesn't mind rain. Last weekend we had a little shower while she was having a wee adventure in the garden and she just sat there on the back steps getting rained on.

She also always, without fail, get into the bath after I've had a shower and as it drains quite slowly there's always a bit of a puddle at first, she just sits right in the middle getting all her bum and tail wet and then proceeds to walk soggy footprints through the house :evillaugh:

My neighbours cat who hardly ever goes out was out in the pouring rain the other day and I just wanted to take him in but I think he was enjoying it  :-:

Rain - indoor cats with outdoor access

Does anyone else have indoor cats who love being out in the rain??

Jess and Milo only have supervised ourdoor access, usually when the sun shines. With all the rain we've had recently they haven't been out as much but have been quite vocal on missing out on their walks. So the other week I opened the door when it was raining and they both went and sat in the middle of the grass totally unfazed by it. Now when its raining they still want to go out, so this means either hubby or I wait in the doorway or stand in the garden with umbrellas.

I think its really strange that they want to go out in the rain, does anyone else have cats that do this?
