Sorry, couldnt log on yesterday - anyway, I've had an email back saying that the cat has been rehomed with partner's mum (who apparently used to work for CP) - at least he did take the time to email me back and he did thank me for suggesting rescues, thats something I suppose, and at least it sounds as though she's safe - well here's hoping anyway.

Thank you for that offer Lesley,  :thanks:  I would have gone and got her for sure, but don't know what I'd have done from there, apart from giving her shelter until something else could be done for her.  :)

Found the ad and emailed too Gillian. :) If I can convince the lady to let her go free, would you be able to help get the cat to Lesley? ;)

If you could get hold of her Gillian, I am sure I could find a space for her here - if you need funds to secure her, let me know.

It never hurts to try the rescues. I know the poor places are currently overwhelmed but that doesn't mean they wouldn't want to try and help.

Poor girl, hope she's safe.

The thing is, although rescues are full, if people are down on a few waiting lists, one will come up soon. I just wondered if there is anywhere the cat could be fostered in the meantime?

Most, if not all, rescues will make pregnant cats top priority.

DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

Yes, she's in my area - well, about half hours drive away, and she's asking £30 for her - dunno why she's not tried getting her into rescue, unless of course she has tried, and like Gill says, they are all full - but it doesnt say as much in the ad. Maybe I'll email her and suggest rescues just in case she hasnt tried them.

Gillian what area do you live in ?

Im sorry Gill, Gillian asked for advice-I gave my opinion, thats what I would try to do.

Sure Gillian do nothing about it, let her go to someone who would use her as a breeding machine, only adding more pressure to rescues!

I've seen a cat advertised for sale that is apparently 5 weeks pregnant!  >:( Rehoming due to not getting on with the other cat. You think they'd at least wait till she's had the kittens. Dunno whether to get involved or not.
