Oh dear Stuart - it took me quite a long time to get Zeta to eat from a plate rather than being hand fed. She used to sit there just looking up at me, but she got there eventually, once she took that first bite of food from a plate there was no looking back. Although....there are still occasions where I'll put the plate in front of her and she'll give me that look again, i just tell her eat it - and she does LOL! When they all have their little bit of dry food at bedtime I put the dry on little saucers, and she definitely doesnt like eating off those, but she will tuck in if I put the dry on the floor! I put their wet food on flat plates (the tin ones you get at camping shops - or used to anyway!) which they seem to prefer to bowls.

Good to hear she's so active and she's eating well now - even if she does have to be spoon fed LOL!  :evillaugh:

Oh dear, she's really got you wrapped around her paws  :sneaky:

In our house its the laser pointer.... Gizmo will cry and cry if I don't play with it before bed. Normally he starts begging about 8pm and by 10pm I have 3 cats surrounding me all wanting the laser...

Told you she would soon have herself and her new slaves whipped in to shape - perhaps a friend would help with the playing but then you would never get to work and be permanantly wearing catfood! ;D

sounds like you are right under the furry paw!!

you ain't joking

when Olivia first came home, all she would eat was Hill's,Hill's,Hill's
tried her with all the tempting treats I could think of - chicken - tuna - prawns - salmon - ham - etc
all of which were sniffed at , then promptly shown a rear end  :-:
I was determined to get her at the least to eat some wet food in her diet, and after many many different
brands we hit upon the pearl gourmet pate ( she wont touch the liver flavour ) the rest are acceptable  8)
this in turn has caused two dilemmas, the first being, although she likes it, she wont eat it all by herself
I think thats to do with the shape of Persians faces ?? she doesn't like sticking it in a bowl or a plate
Like I have said before, she eats the Hill's by sticking her paw in the bowl and dragging out a piece at a time
sometimes eating straight from the paw if it gets stuck between the pads  :evillaugh: :Luv:

forgot to say with Hamish and Misty, the food was always kept in the kitchen, but since Olivia arrived, it has been
sitting in the middle of the living room ( mainly so we can aid in her food intake ) I can't see this changing in the
near future

as for the Pate, sometimes she'll eat a lot  ;D sometimes not  :( But every meal has to be finished by hand, me being a
vege, I usually try and get the OH to do it, but if she isn't there, I have too  don't really enjoy spreading ground
down flesh all over my hand just so's Princess Olivia can Lick it all off

She is eating a whole tin per day now + her Hill's + Dreamies ( which she goes daft for ) but in doing this, I also think it
is compounding the Mousey addiction, as she has more energy now, also Her mad ten minutes of running around the
house, now lasts for twenty Min's

Yes she's had her Play sesh this morning, giving me a wee break to type this  :evillaugh:

EH?? what you mean, " Get another Persian for Her to play with "

 :evillaugh:

OH well........Back to the Grind  ;) :evillaugh:

who said Persians are lazy??  :evillaugh:

I do believe I made some such comment once but Gillian heard me and put me right  :scared:  :evillaugh:

So pleased that Olivia has you running round in circles is settling in so well  :)  Da Mousey is favourite here too but we have to be careful not to let them run off with it as had a bit an ishoo with string becoming entangled around Freddie's tail once and then stick got caught as he tried to "escape it" ouch!  The later Da Mousey with wire and smaller wand is better but unfortunatley just not robust enough for our lot as wire has broken off twice  :innocent:

Has she had her play sesh this morning?

I don't know what it is with Olivia, maybe because she was couped up in a shed with not much to stimulate her, I don't know ??
but she is turning out to be a right Nip in the head when it Comes to Da MOUSEY
she started doing this weeks ago , but She's getting worse " Meow, Meow, Meow - Look at Da Mousey on Da floor sleeping - Meow, Meoow "
C'mon, make Da Mousey Move !! I wanna Play !! Meow, Meow.
5am wake up call, Meow, Meow " oh, Olivia, have you no food ?? " get out of bed to give her food...she's got food  :-: ?? Meow, Meow !!!!
Oh you only want to play with Da Mousey.. Sigh ... 20 min's of Da Mousey later...back to bed...half an hour later.. Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow
you'll play with her and then she'll stop and have a rest, then if you don't pick up Da Mousey, she'll try and play with it herself, but she has problems
picking up the rod with her paw's , she'll then proceed to take Da Mousey for a walk in her mouth down the lobby with the rod trailing behind her
which then gets stuck when she tries to turn around  :(

does anyone else have a demanding Persian for Da Mousey ??

P.S. she has drained the batterys in the laser pen
