I got the De Luxe Bastion from http://www.catscratcher.com/ They're handmade with solid wooden posts so although they're a bit more expensive than most places they really will last a lifetime, mine is 2 1/2 yrs old now and still looks as good as the day I got it.  The boys still love scratching/playing/sleeping/fighting/hiding on it every single day.

Kalven have brilliant cat trees, I have several of them.  http://www.kalven.co.uk/

This is one of the ones I've got - its where they spend most of their time!  http://www.kalven.co.uk/model27B.htm

We have 2 scratch posts from Argos which are fairly sturdy and get used alot. We also have a cat tree from Zooplus which is good but the boys don't use it for scratching mainly they use it as a platform to get on the window ledge.

The best scratch post we've ever brought is the fat boy scratch post, I don't have a pic on this computer but if you google it you should get a pic.

We bought a cheap little cat scratcher before we got Samson, you know the kind, about 2 feet tall, just a base with a pole which has a fluffy ball hanging from the top.

Anyway, he uses it but not a great deal.  I need to try and stop him from scratching the stair carpet, as he has developed a tendancy to do in the middle of the night, and so was thinking of getting him one of the taller ones which have the boxes/beds/slings on them.  I think he'd like it as he seems to like being above us and it's also what he used at the rescue when he was allowed out of his cage.

Where is the best place to get these from?  We have a jolleys which I'm going to pop into tomorrow while we're in town.  Other than that I think there's a PAH in Aylesbury that we could try, or are there any places online that sell them?

 :thanks: in advance.
