There's no such thing as 'only a cat'. I can't understand anyone who would say that  >:(

You are giving Pixie the greatest gift of all by taking away her suffering and taking it upon yourself.

Pixie is going to the bridge
« Reply #1 on: October 10, 2009, 11:03:45 AM »

Well 3 weeks after getting my pixie back from her travels, we have had to make the heartbreaking decision to allow her to go play on the bridge  :(. She has lost so much weight barely weighs 2lb, although eating like a horse but is pooing for england all over the place has lost control over that and her back legs are giving way. After long talks with the vet it was decided that the kindest thing is to let her go. I know its the best thing for her but its the hardest thing to do, she is one of my babies, had her 14 years. The tears havent stopped this morning and Im dreading 5.40pm when she will leave us. I can't face taking her so hubby will do it for me, we are having her cremated and she will then be with jazzey a beautiful girl we lost 6 years ago. I will miss her so much

Julie  :(
