How old is Kitty?  Perhaps she's too small atm?  We've tried our Millie a few times with collar but she is a slim 7 months and will have to leave it another couple of months as I'm worried she will get her lower jaw caught trying to get it off.  Rule is you should only be able to get two fingers tween collar and neck.

We've found that Samson quickly became an expert at releasing his but then we realised that was because it was a little too loose.  Now I've tightened it a little more he seems fine with it.

Cat collar question

Hi everyone,

Sorry if this is in the wrong section!. Haven't been around much recently as we have been doing some decorating for my mum-in-law to be, then went to London to visit my parents. Couldn't take my little angels,which was sad. But neighbour came round everyday to feed them, change the water and give them a bit of fuss. All was ok, except poor Kitty who was pining for my partner.. she don't let him out of her sight now!. Its adorable.

Anyway on to my real point... is there anything I can do to discourage collar chewing?. Kitty, has a habit of chewing through her collars.. and if that dont work she has learnt how to spring her collar open (safety collar that releases if pressure is put onto it).. or is it a case of having to put up with it??. I'm open to suggestions.
