Today I held Mr T up to the telephone - so he could "talk" to his Aunty Helen ....   :-[

My Mum regularly puts her cat Blossom on the phone to purr at me - I love it!

Hilarious!  What are we like.

We do the tucking Summer in with the blanket.  She loves it.  Hubby lifts her up to smell flowers that I always have on the kitchen windowsill.  She's obsessed with smelly things.

Hubby will lie on the sofa for hours so he doesn't disturb Smartie Pants.  He regularly looses the feeling in his legs!!

and Skye.................

Well she's the baby, so she gets away with murder.

She lies in between us in bed, gets a hot water bottle in winter.  Hubby carries her to the shops on a Sunday to get the papers cause the lady who works there loves her and always has treats for her.

All of them get hand fed from our plates.  Don't think I've ever eaten all the meat/fish on my meal but we love em, they're happy so we're happy

The other winter Bilbo was outside in his run and he started doing his 'I want cuddles now ' howl. I went outside, picked him up and brought him into the house, he then ran straight to the back door and kept banging on it to go back out to the run again (he doesn't do heat!)  so I ended up sitting outside in -8C in the snow cuddling him for an hour. He purred his head off that snow, cold and cuddles were all happening at once whilst I turned various shades of blue/purple!

There are some plain daft things such as eating batter & chips as the cats always have the fish  :evillaugh:

There's the "dead arm" or "bursting bladder" to avoid disturbing one on your lap?

done those too  :)

Plus leaving the telephone to ring off and watching crap on tv cause I cant reach the remote

used to take Hamish and Misty on Holiday with me up to my Grandfathers ( both of whom hated traveling )
Misty would wedge Himself under a seat and Hamish would sit on my lap, would take about 20-30 miles
for them to start firing at both ends
I had a Ford Granada at the time and I remember traveling in bad weather with ALL the windows down
till I could safely stop and get rid of the offending lumps

after 3 years of doing this routine, I started to get tranquilizers for them ( whch did help ) I used to laugh
at them staggering about as tho they were drunk, but as they started to get older aand being told of the
dangers of Tranq's  :scared: I started to leave them at home

Was round at my Mother's one day, and I started laughing at My Mum cause she was speaking to Kirsty as tho
she was a child, when She turned round and said what are you laughing at ?? " I said, erm nothing "
because that was the day I realised I did exactly the same

E.G.   Ewwo Misty and Hamish " Boo Baa Pee Poo Pae Po pee pee po po Poo "  :-: :evillaugh:

Some of these are very funny .. bravo for being dedicated slaves

Memphis has indulged in the Superkitty routine in order to catch Spiders which he's "discovered" on the ceiling, but cannot reach. I've also picked him up to examine an entire wall, to convince him there was nothing there [he kept bouncing up the wall like Tigger because he thought a dent was a spider  :tired:]

There are a lot of not moving furniture ones on here  :evillaugh:

Willow likes to sleep in the crook of my arm in bed - which is fine when I am reading, although she does get miffed when I turn the page (note to self: look into buying automatic page-turner  :-:) The problem is however when I decide to turn the lamp off and turn over to sleep. I have to be very careful as I am rewarded with a scratch if the movement isn't as smooth as she would like. I can lie like that for so long but it's impossible to go to sleep like it so I brace myself for the punishment. She then usually hops down for some biscuits and occasionally to lift her tail and vent her anger on the drapes  :tired:
(touch wood, she hasn't done it since she started her CRF treatment - although she did squat on my jumper in the bathroom last night when OH wasn't giving her undivided attention. However, OH says she isn't well and therefore allowed to do whatever she wants, regardless  )

Where do I start?  When Mosi was little I used to lift him up so that he could play with the light cord in the bathroom.  Last night I spent ages in an uncomfortable position on the sofa (and out of reach of the remote) because Jaffa was snuggled up to me and I didn't want to disturb him.

Moving furniture so madam can sit at windows.

Putting the oil heater on even when its warm because Lexy wants somewhere warm to sleep for a bit.

Continually getting horizontal on the sofa with a blanket, even in the summer, so Lexy can sleep on my lap for a few hours.

Grocery shopping at the stores that sell food Lexy likes, even though it may turn out more expensive for me  :evillaugh:

Buying her more beds than she can possibly use, and not mind that she's selective about using them.

For cats not much, they look after themselves mostly, but I got my French Lops a party tent yesterday to shelter them from the rain. Now this is daft, no?

I do say sorry to my cats when I have to move them or when I need to move my legs when they are on them or when I step on their feet.

Refusing to go on holiday for more than 10 days   8)

No holiday for 5 years here due to cats  :evillaugh:

OH gave me a large amount in Thomas Cook gift vouchers 2 (or was it 3?) years ago for my birthday - as yet unused

tbh - I prefer days out anyway (luckily) but OH is dying for a long holiday.

Can't rearrange the furniture because then they can't access window sills  ;D

Not planting the plants I like in the garden in case they eat them.

I have just been out to put Willow's umbrella back in place and cover her with a blanket. Even indoors she likes to be totally covered up  :evillaugh:

I have been known to use my hair straighteners on a bit of fur on Teabags face that is a bit curly and goes into his eyes and annoys him !

Love it!!!

Ive dried Mr T with a hair dryer after he went on the balcony in the rain and got soaked ......

I used to give my elderly cats warmed cat milk on cold days ...... erm what else?

Let Mr T have the warm bit of the bed when I get up for a "bathroom break" in the night .......

Make sure I never give them the same flavour of cat food twice in one day (unless its trout and shrimp which they go nutty for) ....

I will stop there.

It could be a VERY long post otherwise  :evillaugh:

Oh dear, far too many to mention,  probably the biggest was to move house totally away from roads which cost us all of our life savings !,    other silly things I do are,  covering them with Blankies when they are sleeping,   putting parasols up in the garden where they are sleeping so they are shaded,  putting jumpers on them to take them to the vets in case they get cold,  I text my Mum every night 'pretending' I am texting from Ruby !!  (yes I know !)  and loads of other things,  I have been known to use my hair straighteners on a bit of fur on Teabags face that is a bit curly and goes into his eyes and annoys him !

Please humour me  :evillaugh:

Earlier this evening a very large and very angry fly entered the house. Memphis eventually noticed and spent half an hour trying to get it .. Bless him. He eventually got hold of it on the windowsill, dashed rather excitedly onto the floor and opened his mouth  Now Mr or Mrs Fly was a bit brighter than Memph and took the opportunity to escape. Poor little Memphis was rather upset, he had the saddest face ever and started whining. So I took pity on the boy .....

And caught the fly for him  :shy: then spent five minutes trying to point out he couldn't eat it through the glass and needed to put his foot in it! Eventually he put 2 and 2 together and got 4.

LOL he still kept looking around for it after forgetting that he had eaten it.

Any one else done anything daft like that?
