He didnt say Helen but knowing Charlie he has probably jumped from somewhere high and landed awkwardly - he is a big heavy cat but still leaps around.  When it was icy he was running along next doors roof and my heart was in my mouth.  I hoped that after his "accident" with the tree he would learn some sense but so far that has not been the case.

Thankyou all - The vet has given him a thorough examination and is sure that it is nothing too serious and thinks he has badly bruised some soft tissue at the top of his leg.  He has has an anti inflamatory jab and has got 5 days antibiotics and we have got to monitor him.  The vet said that he has never met such a chilled out cat  :Luv2:

Positive thoughts for Charlie - Please

My big soft tabby boy Charlie who is always in the wars (he is the one that fell out of the tree and impaled himself) has hurt himself again.  He went out @ 6.30am amd was fine and came in for his breakfast @ 8am hobbling badly on his back leg, I cant tell if it is one leg or both as he growls at me when I try and look (he only ever growls or grumbles when he is hurting) - I have managed to check his claws and they all look okay so I pretty sure its not car related?

I am at work at the moment but OH is on his way to the vets with him - please send some positive vibes that it is nothing too serious, thanks.
