Is there a specialist breed rescue that could maybe put the older boys' details on their site Angie?

I remember drooling over Mojo when he was a baby, he sounds so similar to Riley personality wise but I really can't afford another cat otherwise I'd apply to adopt him like a shot  :(

Mojo looks  :Luv:

Agreed. :)

Do they have to be homed together? Are they particularly bonded to each other?

The boys are remaining with Leigh in Rugby until we can find a new home or until they need to be moved for the baby's sake. Leigh has just sent me the following which will be going on our website later.

Dylan and Smudge:
Pedigree Exotic Shorthair brothers, neutered aged three. Dylan is a long haired cream/red boy and Smudge is a grey, blue eyed colourpoint. These two are very timid and shy with strangers and would prefer a quiet and calm home, preferably with no young children. They are indoor cats but love having access to a secure and quiet garden when the sun is out and especially in the summer evenings when the moths are about!
Dylan's favourite things are sleeping, eating and chasing flies and Smudgie's are following you around the house chatting away and also sleeping upside down!
They are not lap cats but are still hugely affectionate and are wonderful pets who unfortunately are being rehomed through no fault of their own.
They are also very close companions and enjoy grooming and sleeping together and should never be split.

Mojo:
Two year old tabby neutered male. Gorgeous boy with lovely markings and spotty tummy. Mad as a hatter and always loves being the centre of attention. Would suit a home with maybe cats of a similar energy as can be a bit boisterous sometimes. Definitely a lap cat, will meow at the bedroom door in the morning for a cuddle and likes to sleep draped over you, taking up most of the sofa! Mainly an indoor cat but still likes having access to the garden. A little timid of strangers and loud noises, also has an irrational fear of moving wheelie bins!! Beautiful boy who craves affection like a dog and will follow you around the house like one, being rehomed through no fault of his own.

Re-opening this as Leigh has phoned me up this week.
Since all the excitement , Leigh has now got a 9 month old baby who is very allergic to her cats - She has been struggling with her sons health for a while hoping it would all calm down but things have not got better and so she has asked for help homing Mojo, Smudge and Dylan.

can a mod perhaps move this to R+R ?

more update

hows Mojos eye now?

Its fine Angie... Thank God! As he really didn't like having the cream put in his eyes...ouch!  I came out worse for wear though!

We have decided that we will not let them out into the garden, especially after seeing Mojo leap up the cat tree.  :evillaugh:
Or at least till we move some where with suitable fencing for cat proofing etc...

UPDATE WITH PHOTO'S !!!!!
So OK here's the update so far...

Smudge and Mojo still aren't friends but while Smudge is sleeping Mojo will sneak down next to him and pretend they are!

Dylan is a completely different story... He started off just curious, then not that interested, then had a little play... then earlier today Smudge nibbled Mojo( in not that'a nice'a way  :() and Dylan was straight in there sticking up for a very shocked Mojo!!!!!

 :cuddle:

Thankyou Angie !!!!

Well, after several days its looking.... OK !

Mojo has settled in really well and after only a few nights on his own in the living room all the doors are open and even all their food bowls and litter trays are together.

Funnily enough most of the hissing/spitting was from Mojo who was obviously terrified of the huge fluffy monsters!  ;)
Dylan and Smudge were just interested in what seemed like a walking, talking toy... at first! Then came Smudge's jealousy.
He's definatley a mummy's boy and so as soon as Mojo got a little braver, investigating and playing, Smudge wasn't happy and started to hiss back!
And when Mojo came to our bed at night it was all out war... Smudge didn't speak to me till last night!  :(
But then at about 2o'clock this morning my little Smudgie jumped up to sleep next to me.. I've never been so happy to be woken up at that time. :Luv:

Still not the best friends but it hasn't even been a week.... I think we have been REALLY lucky!

He's learning stuff off his Uncle's but funnily enough I think they are learning more from him! They never touched the top of their cat tree but as soon as Mojo showed them how its done they have found a new love for it all of a sudden  :)

Will resize all the photo's I've taken then maybe start his very own thread?!  :sneaky: It may take me some time![

Just a last quick word as I've rambled on loads!.... a BIG thankyou to Angie... you have done an amazing job with all of my boys.

x

As Leighs very busy at the mo :evillaugh: I can reveal that Mojo was taken to the vet and declared fit and healthy apart from his sore eyes for which he was given cream (vet said he might have got some dust in them  :-[) and was promptly dispatched to Rugby to meet his new Uncles who were a bit bemused by the whole thing.

Dylan and Smudge have matured into absolutely beautiful cats and I'm sure Mojo will have them under his thumb in no time ( :duel:

How did Mojo get on?  Has he developed any more *ahem* mystery illnesses that mean he has to stay with his Aunty Angie for even longer?  :sneaky:

Just spoke to Leigh, Mojo's 3rd eyelid is showing this afternoon so it may be a vet visit tomorrow as well/instead of a new home. He's eating and playing OK so we'll see how he is in the morning.

not long now...... hope you're ready for your home inspection!!!! I can be quite strict when I want to be.
May have to take a couple of extra carriers with me just in case.....

The other 2 now have a home to go to together, I've done the home visit today and they may be going next week if we (their new mum and myself) are happy that they are robust enough to cope with her two daughters. (should be ok). They were trying to decide names when I left, I think Tom and Jerry had just been suggested.

So come on Leigh - GET THE HOOVER OUT!!! :rules: :tea:
