I can't put into words the feeling I get from reading that article and others like it.

I am dissapointed that I don't live in Scotland as I would not have just pushed and spat at him  >:(

Although if I had, I am pretty sure that I would have got a harsher sentence than that sorry excuse for a human being.

cat murderer

Sadly, that doesn't begin to describe the evil torture he put those poor babies through. I wish him a lingering and painful death  >:(

Evil, vile, nasty, sicko  >:(

This line amazed me: Defence lawyer Jonathan Manson said his client had "various difficulties" which needed to be taken into account

All we can hope for is that some animal-loving inmates get him. "People" like that really need removing permanently so there is no chance of a repeat.

Well Ive read all of it and the other related links  :'(

I wouldnt advise any one to read it unless they have a fairly strong stomach - its pretty distressing.  Im one of those people that likes to know details - my imagine is often worse than the reality.  NOT IN THIS CASE  :'(

Sufficient to say its the usual story re sentencing

"After pleading guilty, Docherty was granted bail with special conditions which prevent him from having any contact with animals. His sentencing was deferred for psychiatric and full background reports"

I fear this means he will not receive the punishment most of us might feel appropriate  >:( >:( >:(

I have added the "might be upsetting" emoticon but I think the title should be enough to warn people that it isn't going to be pleasant. It's on BBC news so something that anyone would have access to.

Have to admit to skim reading it - I know sickos exist I don't need to read in minute detail what they do. I didn't see a sentence there apart from being kept away from animals and having a mental assessment.

Might be a good idea to warn people the link is fairly descriptive.
