Can you drive a cat away?

You'll always have a good idea if they don't want attention.  It might start with gentle tail flicking, maybe a gentle nibble to say go away.

Seriously though, the longer you have her, the more you will get to know when she wants a fuss, and when she wants to be left alone.

But then sometimes, they still surprise you

Cat usually tell you if they have had enough and if you don't listen to the first hint they give you the next one won't be so nice but thats fair enough I say, anyways you will learn how much or how little your cat wants fuss.     Never ignore your cat though, always acknowledge them.

Am quite prepared for as much fuss as she wants lol

I think I do lol as in go over and stroke it or pick it up and put on my knee, which she jumps off if she doesn't want to be stroked. She normally comes to me when she wants cuddling....... So could I push her away if I try to intervein to much?

I wouldnt push her away if she comes to you though - its her perogative to push you away if she's not in the mood - but not the other way round LOL!

I just don't want to give her fuss if she doesn't want it incase she gradually comes to me less n less.... I think I'm gonna just let her come to me when she wants and just the odd chin stroke when I pass lol

She likes to be head rubbed and some times lays on her side while you play with her belly, she normally sleeps in my bed and often next to me or my head or under arm.... I think it must have to be on her terms tho by the looks of it lol

I also think it depends on the cat.  Some like cuddles etc. some don't.  My Bonnie loves to be cuddled but if I try to pick her up she is like a slippery eel getting out of my arms.

I think so....I have some that will give me gentle mouth hold if they are getting too much, I have some that I know not to got that far with!  I have some that cant get enough....
