Great idea Helen cause the best adverts for it would be internet shops where they have the most potential to get business from customers unlike a local business say in my area. Online pet shops are great idea. and any others ya can think of, it would be a great help.
If you like you both could be in charge of the business bit for the diary? ie getting the adverts in etc.
I can do a receipt for the businesses if they want one.
I thought £25 but if ya think they would pay more then please up it cause the more we get the more the cats get and thats our goal.
If ya need an example of what the diary will look like to send in the email, i can send a a pic.

I can fit 6 (6cm x 6am) adv on each page of the diary at the back pages. I have 4 pages for it put by but can increase the pages a few if need be.
They need to send me their adv as a jpeg, pdf, tiff, psd file etc.
They can send a chq to me or pay by palpal to my acc or if you want to do the collecting of the fees with the advert promotion thats fine.
It prob be best for them to send the donation (adv fee) with their advert? whatcha think? The whole amount will be staright to the rescue as the costs of printing and postage of the diaries are incl in the diary selling price.
