she hated the journey there and back and the stress made her sleep all afternoon!

This article doesn't mention it but onions, garlic, leeks and tulips are all part of the same plant family.

I was just panicking when I read tulips - Si bought me some tulips the other day and it's been a nightmare keeping Pepsi away from them, she keeps chewing the leaves  From looking around, it's only the bulb that it poisonous though so it should be alright  :)

((((((((Fern)))))))
I hope shes ok and the vet can give her a painkiller to help.
My friends cat had a bad reaction to the spay years ago and worried us sick for a couple of days but bounced back and was climbing the walls (literally) the day after the vet visit.

thank goodness i have an appointment this morning, i hope they give her more pain relief! she looks utterly miserable..makes me wish i had never taken them in now! :(

twiggy on the other hand is full of it! (onions and garlic safely tucked away) she is back to her usual self!

ill let you know how Fern gets on send her positive vibes and healing wishes please!

It's listed in our links section:

http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/index.php/topic,26919.0.html

it's surprising actually the things - including flowers/plants which can be toxic - we have a list of those too in Care Guides Section

both grls are doing well...Twiggy seems non plussed by the whole thing but poor Fern is suffering.... :'( they both slept on the bed last night.....fern is sleeping lots now so i hope that she will perk up a bit later...

Twiggy is her usual self...she likes onions! :-: she gets on the side and carries them away then tries to dissect them!

anyway both girls weeing and pooing and eating so im sure this will pass quickly....

i hate to see them with the nasty cut in their tummies....poor babies....
