poor Monkey, and poor you
this is the second time in a couple of days a council's failure to scan for a microchip has come up - perhaps CP could take this up as a national campaign - a scanner is all that's needed
and then Monkey's sad death would have a purpose

apparently he was ran over, when the person found him he was already dead
hope he didnt feel too much pain.
a neighbour put in a complaint and the council removed him, i would have hoped they would check for a chip but obviously not

Oh no! Not Monkey!
There are lots of ginger cats so I wouldn't give up hope just yet. Do you know what happened to him? Was he taken to a vets? If so, he'd have surely been checked for a microchip?

this can be closed now, we think we found him, a neighbour said a ginger cat had been ran over a week or so ago on the next street over, sounded like monkey.

a neighbour rang (thanks to the flyers) and said he seen a ginger cat in middle of road just sitting there looking confused, but shot off when he came towards it.
have been to the area and called his name loads, looked like a crazy lady!

Congratulations on the pregnancy and I hope Monkey comes back soon. Do try all the tips - different ones work for different cats

Oh Fluffy not Monkey!
Sending positive vibes that he will return home safe and sound!
Have you checked all of Sams advice? The leafletting is a good way to make the vacinity aware he is missing!
