Do the anti histamines work for the cat Leigh? They are imo better than steroid jabs which is what most allergy cats are subjected to. Iv seen in magazines some kind of air purifier that is meant to help reduce allergens in the atmosphere, not sure if they are any good tho!

Many thanks Liz that looks amazing, I have e-mailed them to enquire if it is safe to use on cats.

Cheers

Leigh

Edit: Just found in their FAQ that it's only for dogs and they have no plans to introduce one for cats :( still looks amazing stuff.

For the cat with the allergy try this link - my mate has a Jack Russell aged 8 months and he is allergic to grass and has all sorts of rashes and sores she got this and he is now a normal litttle JRT and enjoys the grass - she puts it on daily and he is a happy soul

They also guarentee money back if it doesn't work, all natural to

Maybe she needs the injections I get for Bonnie - I think she should visit the vet cos if she leaves it too late like Bonnie's previous owner (Bonnie lost her tail as you know).

I once had a dog that suffered - she got a rash on her stomach with it.  I know this doesn't help  :P :P

I can't understand how it is so bad if it's an indoor cat.  Maybe like humans it is only allergic to one kind of Pollen.  I am worse with tree and grass pollen and flowers do not bother me at all.

A work colleague of mine went to the vet the other week with her cat - mentioned that her other cat had the snuffles and suggested olbas oil in an oil burner.  I use olbas Oil to help with my hayfever too.

Good luck.

Hi foks,

A quick cat health question if I may. A friend has an indoor cat that suffers terribly with a pollen allergy. Her vet recommended a little antihistamine which she has been giving her but anyone got any experience of this and/or alternative treatment advise.

Many thanks

Cheers
