Theses kittens are in Ireland and I cant say where they are coming from as we nearly didnt get chrissie and Amber was very dehydrided when we got her the other night it took us a while to get her as she had been misplaced  but both are coming on in leaps and bounds :Luv2:

Good luck with Chrissies twin. :)

(By the way, I've just noticed your avatar - my friend had a baby boy at the end of January and he is called Khi too. Obviously it's spelt differently, though. Congratulations. :))

Got a fone call for a person tonight from the same area that chrissie came from another kitten has been found the exact same markings size and age. the person that found the second kitten has misplaces the kitten  how the hell do you missplace a kitten :censored: well she reckons it is either hiding in one of her rooms or got out the door :shify: I have asked her as soon as the kitten turns up to put it into a pet carrier and bring it to me asap and not to bring it to any other place :censored:
Hopefully Chrissie will have a friend  will let you know as soon as I know ;)

She is such a lovely kitten and has fabulous markings - she will have a few bumps in her little life but hopefully she will live to be a ripe old age.  I had never heard of this either Sonni so we have both learned something today.

Definately, i suppose we learn something new everyday  :Luv2:

Aw, what a cutie, I'm so glad you got to her in time!

I never knew that C.H. existed until I read minimopsicals story a while back, but it seems that cats have many ways of coping with disabilities.

C.H. cats are amongst the most loving and intelligent,we are very lucky to share our home with Minimopsical who is a severe case.We prefer to call her acrobatic rather than sp.....

The kitten is affected whilst in the womb  when the cells in the part of the brain which control movement and balance dont develop.

Chrissie I am sure will amaze you with her ability to cope with everything.

Sonnie perhaps you might enjoy reading Minimopsicals story

awwwww i love Minimopsical  :Luv:
such a beautiful story, and beautiful pics too.  Still made me cry  :'(
although i have literally just found out about C.H, its a great relief to know that babies with C.H are happy, and well looked after.  ;)
I have always wanted a job looking after to helping in looking after fur-babies, and this story makes me want that even more.

If you google it there is tons of information on C.H

loads and loads of info  ;)

don't feel sad Sonnie. it seems to be far less serious than in humans and causes much less problems.  the biggest threat is idiot organisations putting these babies to sleep when it'snot necessary.  theres no reason why a CH cat cant have a happy and long life

ive just watched a vid on yourtube of furbabies with C.H. Bad idea.
Im emotional as it is and seeing them has finished me off  :'(

i'm sure there are others more clued upon the condition than i am but as far as i'm aware it doesnt affect a cats life span and the one that i knew lived until she was 18. she was slower and clumsier than the other cats in the household but other than a dodgy gait/posture and a lot of falling off of window sills she was a healthy and happy cat.  the people i knew just had cushions under all the window sills and tall furniture to catch her if she fell.

:scared: its so sad that this can actually happen to babies,  :'(
i was prob very niaeve to think this, but i didnt know about this kind of health issue would be possible for a pur-baby to have  :'(

it means she's a spastic cat (i know that's politically incorrect but cats dont care about being PC and it's the easiest way to explain the condition).  CH stands for CEREBELLAR HYPOPLASIA.   ;)

awwwwwwwwww bless her, i love her even more now  :'(   :Luv2:   :Luv:
so will she have any problems?  like in everyday cat life stuff?
sorry for the hundred questions, but i never knew about things like this. I feel like a bad cat owner for not knowing that this kind of this is possible  :'(

Chrissie has problems with her back legs she has no control over them but she has adapted well and uses her front legs for climbing up on things she is not suppose to :Luv2: her problem is trying to get down as she has no fear and ends up landing on her head  we have blankets and pillows all over the place so she dosnt hurt her self  :Luv2: She is tucking into her lunch at the moment and loves the R/C recovery.
I have have never had C.H cat before in all my yrs of rescue but have seen them and helped out at the cattery where there was a few of them but Chrissie is my first one  so it is a learning curve for me as well ;)

She is beautiful.

Her stance makes me wonder if she is a C.H. cat ?

She is a C.H kitten but she is a joy to look after and there dosnt seem to be anything wrong with her brain :Luv2:
