There's so much new stuff on the site I could sdtay up until 3.00 a.m. if my eyes (and Bonnie) would let me

Love the little icons at the bottom of the pages that say TOP and the cat jumps up.  Icons at top of page for different sections are good too but will people know to click next to the icon pic to get the name of the section to click on?  OR, can you see them and my pc is a bit slow?

Thanks,

I'll be pleased when the move is over, been feeling quite stressed over the last 6 months since it all started but feel like I'm nearly there now.

Cheers

would have loved to work in marketing, good fun but then I'd have had to have a pony tail and Porsche, on the other hand ? :)

I haven't got either of those!  Is this where I'm going wrong?

I do love the website enhancements.

Good luck with the move, hunnybun

Hiya,

Very funny Mary chuck, well at least you know what the temperature is without sticking your head round the door :). Thanks for the wishes hun, hope Maxy boy is well.

I don't know if there's a part of me that doesn't hurt this morning spent all day yesterday from 6AM till about 8 in the evening packing boxes. All told I've now packed 55 boxes plus eight large plastic crates and I still need a few more to finish the job!. The guy from the removals company has done two runs to me in a week with more boxes and I will have to give him a ring and see if he can pop over Friday evening and drop a few more off. I simply can't believe how many it has taken,I suppose one buys stuff and it mounts up but never thought it would take this many. I'm pleased I started last weekend when there was at the time 3 weeks to the move as I will still have one week in hand this weekend to finish the job. All looking a bit strange at the moment, living of a few plates, mugs etc. etc.. I need to get one more large cat carrier from somewhere as Alfie'll no longer be confortable in the smaller one and, considering that they will be in them for a few hours whilst I move, I want to get a larger one, probably mean a two bus each way journey over to Pets at home after work one evening. I'll be very pleased when we get to March and I will have a few days to settle in and be free of this place. I am taking the last 7 days leave for the move which, with weekends thrown in, will stretch to 11 days. My plan is like this, 20th is completion day, 21st over to the new flat early to wait for the bed, washing machine, fridge and self-assembly furniture to arrive and the rest of that day putting said bed and furniture together. 22nd more of same if necessary or last minute packing here, 23rd the day of the move, 24th and 25th unpacking the vital stuff, 26th and 27th back here cleaning up etc, 28th back here to return keys, get deposit back, do inventory etc and then I  have 3 days in my new place for more unpacking etc. before returning to work. I can take more leave as soon as we hit April so I will be doing so so as to have a nice break and fully settle in with the boys. Keep your eyes peeled for Your Cat magazine on or about the 14th, I might have my copy a day or two early.

Cheers folks

Leigh

Wotcha chuck,

If you click on the forecast on my homepage you can goto the site where you can enter your town etc.

Do you like the Alfie banner, note that with the lightening all the hairs are standing up on his back and he has a layer of snow in the snow showers bit :)

I'm pleased with the "Adverteyes" banner play on words, would have loved to work in marketing, good fun but then I'd have had to have a pony tail and Porsche, on the other hand ? :)

Thanks,

The moving company are dropping off even more cardboard boxes tonight so I'll be packing again tomorrow and possibly Sunday.

Did a few new graphics for the website, which all appears to be working perfectly, such as this one

which I'm hoping might attract some advertising which in turn can go to FIV Research such as these guys : http://www.fivprognosis.org/

also did a new banner to, I hope, help get some more business for Tan:

You can also see what Alfie and Frankie's weather is likely to be like :)

Oh and there's our new viisitors map but still nobody from the South Pole ?! :) I suppose there might be some Huskys but cats are far too sensible to pull those sledges :)

Cheers

A huge thank you to Tan and Steve who today very generously provided me with the webspace to port over the alfie-cat website to be hosted on their servers.

I have done all the neccessary changes and uploaded the site and setup the new domian name forwarding and everything.

I also added some new content to the homepage as the last of my recent updating process.

Sorry I've not been around much but so busy with preperations for the move which is only just over two weeks away now and ache all over from packing.

Hope everyone is well and I'll pop by again soon when I have a little more time.

Cheers
