I only live 40 minutes away in swindonbut the best I could do would be to offer foster care.  Hope she gets a good home!

OH the poor poor girl - she is BEAUTUFUL bless her. My heart breaks for this lass - if I could i'd be on my way to collect. I so hope a real loving home comes soon for her. xxxxxxx

Not on the same scale, but I've taken on a couple of breeder rats (at different times) from a local petshop. One was a female that had had lots of litters but was "getting too old" and the other was a hairless rat who'd they'd tried using for stud until it became apparant his reoccuring eye problem might be genetic - he was then deemed as "of no use to them." I've since learned that eye problems in hairless rats IS genetic and is really common. (I learnt that from the lady who took him and had lots of experience with his breed; the female stayed with us until she developed a tumour at a fairly good ageand we had to let her go.)

I hate how people use animals and breed them to make some quick money. It makes me seethe.....am trying to figure out if I know anyone close enough to this little girl who is looking for a cat.

Thanks Sheryl. Typical - she's obviously "served her purpose" and they've gone into breeding Maine Coons instead. Sorry, that might sound a sweeping generalisation, but that's the impression I get.

Its so sad - I find it hard to believe that at 7 years old she only had 1 litter ??  I agree with you JS and it makes me soooo mad that these cats are just used and then disguarded.  I really hope that the wright loss issue they mention is not a serious health problem
